Brandon Carson Hall is a nationally recognized trial attorney. He is a shareholder at HART DAVID CARSON, LLP, and handles civil litigation matters across and array of practice areas. Brandon has successfully handled wrongful death, products liability, premises liability, construction accident, commercial trucking accidents and automobile accidents, in state and federal courts throughout the United States. Some of Brandon’s notable work includes a $4.55 million recovery for a defective seatbelt, $1.67 million for a premises liability injury, $1. 25 million for a defective dehumidifier that caused internal inhalation injuries, and an $800,000.00 settlement for negligent spoliation of evidence against one of the largest automobile insurance companies in the world. The settlement was reached just prior to opening statements at trial. Brandon also recently secured a $750,000.00 settlement for a client injured in an automobile accident, $675,000.00 for a client rear-ended in his personal vehicle, $721,000.00 for a construction worker injured at work, $375,000.00 for a client injured when she was shot in the chest at her ex-husband’s home, $425,000.00 for a passenger in a vehicle who collided with a train, and a $450,000.00 settlement for a client injured outside of his truck on the highway. What makes each of the above victories so important is that the insurance companies denied every single case with a zero offer before lawsuits are filed.
As a result of his legal excellence in the field of personal injury law, Brandon was recently featured in the USA Today and the New York Times. In 2019 and 2021, he was named one of the Top 100 Power Lawyers in the country. Brandon was also listed in The American Registry as one of the top 1% of lawyers in the United States in 2023.
Brandon has been an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star and Illinois Super Lawyer for eleven consecutive years from 2014 -2024. He was named a Super Lawyer in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 by Chicago Magazine and Illinois Super Lawyers Magazine. The Rising Star designation is given to only 2.5% of attorneys under 40 or less than 10 years of practice experience in Illinois. The Super Lawyers designation is only given to 5% of the entire attorney population in Illinois.
Brandon has been named a “Top 40 Under 40” attorney by The National Trial Lawyers for seven consecutive years beginning in 2016. In 2024, he was named a Top 100 Plaintiff’s Civil Litigator by The National Trial Laywers. He has also been named an “Emerging Lawyer” by Leading Lawyers for every year since 2015. He also has a perfect “10” rating from the online attorney rating system “AVVO”.
Brandon is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He is licensed to practice immigration law in all 50 states. In his role as an immigration attorney, Mr. Hall assists foreign nationals seeking to procure immigrant and non-immigrant visas. Of particular interest and focus to Mr. Hall's immigration practice are H, L, O, E, and P visas. Brandon also assists clients seeking both non-immigrant and immigrant visas, as well as assisting clients with family-based immigration needs.
Brandon attended The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina on an academic scholarship. He graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and also served as the second battalion operations officer during his senior year. Brandon then attended Valparaiso University School of Law, where he graduated with his Juris Doctor degree in just two and a half years by participating in the accelerated J.D. program. While at Valparaiso, Brandon earned both course and semester honors. He was a semi-finalist in the Luther M. Swygert Moot Court Competition and selected chair of the Luther M. Swygert Moot Court Competition the following year. He was also a member of the International Moot Court traveling team and a two-time regional finalist in the ABA Client Counseling Competition.
Brandon is fully fluent in Spanish and has a working knowledge of Italian. He has studied at La Universidad de Salamanca, in Salamanca, Spain, La Academia Latinoamericana de Espanol in Quito, Ecuador, La Universidad de Los Andes in Santiago, Chile and La Universidad Catolica de Argentina in Buenos, Aires Argentina.
When not physically at the office, Brandon and his wife can be found cycling in the mountains, playing tennis, caring for their dogs, and traveling the world engaging in unforgettable adventures.
